Early this week EON the large energy provider visited some KS4 visit lesson to talk about renewable energy. Students had to get very hands on and build there own renewable energy models out of Connex kits. These included wind turbines, hydro electric stations and solar power. The students got the models to actually produce electricity and our year 10 groups was praised for producing the most electricity from their wind turbine making it a new EON record.

We hope to welcome EON back early next year for some more renewable energy workshops.
